No one is on the same page. Front desk told me I didn’t need to do anything for a 3 day pass other than sign up online. Get a call 12 hours later I need to come in for an appointment to set up a 3 day pass. Same person who told me to sign up online told me day passes were $10. A week later I come in for a day pass and get charged $20. I was told someone would check and see if they can refund me the $10 since I was provided the wrong information. That person left without reconciling the situation. Only lady working at the desk told me she didn’t know how to do refunds to accounts. Basketball gym is run down, rims are bent, and in a tight space. Needs work. I won’t be back and I suggest anyone looking for an organized and maintained gym look elsewhere.

FILTHY, ZERO RULES, POORLY MANAGED- I originally chose this gym because I went to LaFitness in Florida and it was clean and was a great experience. You will not find that here. The locker rooms and bathrooms you could grow penicillin in and the overall facility is just dirty. Maybe it’s because the janitor spends literal hours talking to members instead of doing his job. The wipes to clean the machines are always out so they resort to putting dry paper towels in the slot or cleaning liquid w no paper towel (see pic) you rarely get both. Guess the manager can’t order both simultaneously. lol Not sure how that is supposed to work. Employees spend most their time talking amongst themselves or on their phones or selling memberships which is the only part of their job I guess that is valuable. Now let’s talk about how they allow bad actors/non members to come into the facility for $20 to disrespect the members and trash the facility. Several of them told me while laughing we aren’t members here will we do what we want they just want our $20! Police need to patrol/visit this gym daily as I’ve seen some shady things going on here. I’ve been in search of a gym with a pool and would allow my fiancé and I to work out together. We took a tour and couldn’t be more appalled. Broken and/or rusted equipment and the entirety of the gym was filthy. I was most interested in the pool however, the woman giving the tour provided conflicting answers as to how often the pool was cleaned. The final answer given was that the pool wasn’t cleaned regularly and they never knew when it would get cleaned. La Fitness in other areas are fantastic, but this particular location is nothing short of a disappointment.

*UPDATE* This place is a torture chamber but in a good way lol Had an absolute blast. Had not swam laps in nearly two decades! Too cool that it's a sea water experience also. When I quit whining, I'll see y'all again! lol

During my visit to North Carolina, I had to work out. I visited this location for my usual Thursday evening Aqua Aerobics class. The instructor was great. He did have a speaker that was playing good R&B tunes. But it was small and couldn't really be heard over the sound of the water. Plus, it was so small. It really wasn't helping me get into it! I should have put in some earbuds. A bigger speaker is a must! Nothing too big, but bigger than the one he was using. I revisited again for an upper body workout, which was great. The machines have ample space in between them and lots to choose from. The gym was very clean and well lit. I give four stars because they need to add more dissecting sprays and paper towels all around the floor, like Planet Fitness has to ensure equipment is clean. Those little wipes aren't sufficient! Plus, there are not very many wipe stations around the floor.
